KIDA BRADLEYKida is a fourth-year Anthropology major with a concentration in climate change, human rights, and education. She hopes to establish social programs and institutions that are socially-conscious and ecologically-mindful. Anytime Kida is stressed about the climate crisis, she immerses herself in the world of animation and video games.
JENNY CHAuJenny is a public health major planning on going to pharmacy school afterwards. In their free time, you can find her reading, petting a cat or napping.
AMANDA JARERAT BOLINAmanda is a second-year double major within the fields of Anthropology; Concentration in Climate Change and Human Solutions, and Urban Studies and Planning. If she could boil down her interests to a small list, it would be: watching striking cinematography and then bad dramas afterwards, cramming dance covers into her schedule, blasting music at loud volumes in her ear, just about anything nature-related, really zoomed-in photos of architectural details, and a tendency to make all of her research papers about environmental planning within the city of Bangkok, Thailand, which is her home and a large source of inspiration.
MAEGAN CUSTODIOMeagan is a third-year USP major with a minor in Climate Change Studies. In the future, she wants to work in the sustainable planning realm, focusing on promoting equity for underserved communities. In her free time, Maegan watches all kinds of movies, from classy to trashy.
MEGYN HORTONMegyn is a third-year transfer student majoring in Anthropology with a Concentration in Climate Change and Human Solutions. She is passionate about climate change and collective activism and she hopes to play a part in building a more sustainable future. In her free time she likes to explore new places, spend quality time with the people she loves, and curl up with her two cats to watch a movie.
MEGHAN TRAYNORMeghan is a 4th year studying Sociocultural Anthropology with minors in Human Rights and Migration and Spanish Literature. While at UCSD, she has participated in community-based research focusing on homelessness, migration advocacy, and collective care. She hopes to spend her future continuing to learn how to contribute to a more sustainable world where all people are housed, have nutritious food to eat, and are connected to each other and earth’s systems. Outside of school, she loves to hike, surf, speak Portuguese and Spanish, read and write.

JAY RANGARAJANJay is a third-year bioinformatics student with a minor in critical gender studies (hopefully they can make it a double major) who is thrilled to develop a deeper knowledge of San Diego cultures and climates. They are a scientist who hopes to use their advocacy and peer counseling background, in addition to what they learn at CJARS to open up and queer the communities they are a part of. Beyond that, Jay enjoys sitting in their beanbag, surrounded by plants and friends with a good book or TV show.
JOYCE PANGJoyce (she/they) is an urban studies and planning major and ICAM arts minor. She enjoys learning about community care systems and decolonization and is happiest when she is creating art, going on adventures, and surrounding herself with love.
TYLER TUTAKTyler is a first-year currently studying Environmental Systems. In the future, they hope to become a restoration ecologist specializing in aquatic and semi-aquatic ecosystems. Outside of school, they enjoy listening to and creating music as well as appreciating the wonderful things life has to offer such as flowers and the beach.

Levi is a Sociology major with a concentration in Social Inequality and a minor in Computational Social Science. He has a great love of nature from a childhood of hiking, camping, and backpacking. Levi is passionate about the intersection between addressing climate change and other social issues. In his free time, he enjoys photography, collecting vinyl records, and playing with his cat Watson.
ZACHARY BICKELZachary Bickel is an Urban Planning and Studies major. Outside of school, you'll find him listening to his records, going to concerts, climbing rocks, and enjoying the sunset.
Mollie KingMollie is an Anthropology major with a concentration in climate change and human solutions, double minoring in marine science and climate change studies. To no surprise, Mollie feels deeply connected to the environment, eternally enamored by how people interact within it. In her free time she likes planning epic hikes, taking long bike rides along the coast, identifying plants with her plant-identifier app, and marveling at Gliderport’s one-of-a-kind sunsets.

Winnie cheungWinnie is a fourth-year Global Health major with double minors in Health Care-Social Issues and Urban Studies and Planning. She is particularly interested in studying the intersections between urban planning and health disparities. During her free time, she enjoys bothering her friends, replaying the same 20 songs all day long, and going on spontaneous trips.
JILL WALKERJill is a third year Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution Major. She grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA where she developed a close connection to nature and a passion for a healthy planet. She enjoys making coffee (especially pouring latte art), drawing, running, and spending quality time with friends. She recently completed her first marathon and aims to achieve a sub 4 hour time this year.
RICCARDO GAVARDONIRiccardo is an Urban Studies and Planning major and Environmental Studies minor. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing and watching basketball, and is always looking to try new coffee shops.
Claire O'ConnellClaire O’Connell is pursuing a degree in Anthropology with a Concentration in Climate Change and Human Solutions, as well as a degree in Critical Gender Studies. Her passions include environmental and social justice, dancing, hiking, pilates, reading, and road trips.
AUSTEN SORENSENAusten is a Real Estate & Development major and a Climate Change Studies minor from San Diego and the Cayman Islands, with roots from Denmark. He aims to work in sustainable land planning and development design and regulation. Additionally, he is committed to advancing environmental research, with a particular focus on anthropogenic waste, integrated pest management, and soil fertility. He has a deep passion for nutrition/fitness, animal rights activism, and photography. He also holds a special affinity to Electronic Dance Music. In his leisure time, you might find him in the garden, at the beach, on a nature trail, or practicing yoga.
