PAST EVENTS:
ovgg block party:
CJARS teamed up with the YEJAAS [Young Environmental Justice Advocates Academy] and OVGG [Ocean View Growing Grounds] to create an event, later named the "Block Party" to spread awareness of climate change and invite the community to share the garden space and engage more with other communal spaces.
EVENT @ BIRCH AQUARIUM:
CJARS students were fortunate to be able to use a space at the Birch Aquarium to engage a younger audience with climate problems such as ocean acidification, plastic cities in the ocean, unsustainable fashion, among other issues through games and various activities.
